The Groundwork playscape approach is not dismissive of well-designed play equipment. Think grassy mounds, timber decking, trees, water, bridges and boulders complemented by modern, well designed play equipment and you’ve got Groundwork playscape: an exciting and challenging space to play with creativity and imagination.

 

The design team developed 3D CAD visualisations to help plan the stages of construction and also show how the project would look once completed.

 

They were particularly useful in helping illustrate how play equipment can be designed to work with the landscape. The ability to take a virtual walk through Groundwork playscape made understanding the design much easier for all.
